We have several ways in which we seek to be a blessing to the community and the world. Have a look at some of the things we do to bless the community, and let us know if you would like to be a part of God's work to serve with us.
ECCN has partnered with Salvation Army to help feed those that are hungry both physically and spiritually. This occurs the 2nd Saturday of every month in the downtown Elyria location.
ECCN Heaventrain Outreach Ministry is one of God's Answers to our community’s questioning of "Why?" and "How?" do we serve as Christ’s Body.
WHY? Our community is in peril and dire need of Our Savior: stats and facts available as proof. The "Salvation Issue" is of greatest importance in these Last Days before Jesus returns for His People. What matters most in this fallen world is that families be offered the choice to live evermore in Christ's Kingdom. We dedicate ourselves to loving our Heaventrain children and adults as we love ourselves and introduce them to Jesus. We offer our Lorain County families insight into the Promises of God by building relationship with them through God's Word: The Bible and Prayer.
Heaventrain would like to offer the following reasons for ECCN to continue Evangelizing our Community:
- Jesus is our GREATEST GIFT and Gave Everything to us and thus we should become joyous that we may now offer Him our Love.
- God's Love is Dynamic and Cutting Edge: His Truth is like a double-edged sword.
- We believe in Revival: Our community is perishing for need of their Savior.
- We believe that sitting at the foot of The Rabbi is in order now for every member of our local church community: There is much to learn about God's Ways.
- We need to spend time sharing the new vistas that we have learned living in Christ’s Peace with one another.
HOW? Through our Commitment to building God's Kingdom.

This free event is primarily for children ages 12 and under. Activities vary every year, but we always get a visit from the Easter Bunny and do an Easter Egg Hunt. There are thousands of eggs hidden all over the property and to ensure all children walk away with candy, they are separated by age groups.
Memorial Day Parade
Each Memorial Day, we participate in the Elyria Memorial Day Parade in downtown Elyria passing out candy and material to the public.
We have a great view of the Elyria Fireworks. Every year we open up our parking lot to the public and pass out free refreshments and glow sticks and watch fireworks.
This free fall event is fun for all ages and is one of our biggest outreach events of the year! We rent face painters, photo booth, inflatables and balloon twister. We also offer carnival games, prizes, giveaways, Heaventrain, Cake Walk, food and Trunk or Treat.
This is a brand new event started in 2016. The church met off site for a delicious Thanksgiving Feast. Congregation was encouraged to invite people who would not have a Thanksgiving meal. It was an amazing evening and well attended by both the community and congregation.
This is our most beautiful outreach event of the year. Tickets are very reasonably priced and you get a delicious meal. The tea is a very unique event where you will find beautifully decorated Christmas tables, singing, special speaker, delicious food and a candle light ceremony. This event is always the first Saturday in December.
